IT Director and hands-on infrastructure engineer.
I design, migrate, protect and run production infrastructure: virtualization, backup, automation and monitoring, mostly on Linux. I spent ten years inside an international group, the last two as IT Director for France. In 2022 I founded Koftec, which now serves customers in France and the United States.
Outside work, I run two Proxmox homelab clusters where new tools get tested before they reach a client.
Now
I run Koftec, an independent infrastructure company based in Cahors. Koftec builds and migrates virtualization platforms, protects them with backups that are tested, automates and monitors them, and gives SMBs a part-time IT Director.

2022 to today
Founder
On-prem and datacenter infrastructure for companies that run their own hardware: platform design, migrations, backup and disaster recovery, automation, monitoring, and part-time IT direction for SMBs.
2020 to 2022
IT Director, France
Group security improvements: vulnerability assessment, dedicated monitoring, log centralization. A global backup and offload solution. The French datacenters and every service hosted in them.
2012 to 2020
System and Network Engineer
Virtualized more than 70 physical datacenter servers. Replaced proprietary tools with open source for monitoring, configuration management and file shares. Automated operations with Ansible, Python and Bash.
2011 to 2012
Linux and Oracle Consultant
Automated Linux and Oracle deployments for customers and for internal infrastructure, along with system and monitoring tooling.
2009 to 2011
Linux Consultant
Led infrastructure projects for French hospitals, designed highly available platforms and trained technical teams on Linux.
2008 to 2009
Level 2 Support Technician
Led a team of four, supported customers and internal teams, and automated Linux monitoring and diagnostics.
